Thinh Dinh obtained a BEng in Electrical and Electronics (specializing in Telecommunications) from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (Vietnamese: Đại học Bách Khoa Tp Hồ Chí Minh). He then got his PhD degree under the supervision of Prof. Tony Quek at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). He was a visiting student at University of Toronto under the supervision of Prof. Ben Liang. He received multiple research awards in the topics of Edge Computing.
Currently, he is a Research Fellow I at SUTD. His current research interests include:
- Scalable Quantum Computing
- Edge/Cloud Resource Management
- Network Inteligence
Awards
- IEEE 2020 ComSoc Stephen O. Rice Prize (Best paper award of IEEE Transactions on Communications (top 3 in the field of Wireless Communications) over the period of 2017-2019)
- Best Paper Award of IEEE ATC 2021
